Game Stories

From March-July 2021 , I worked as a freelance high school sportswriter for Outlook Newspapers, based in La Cañada Flintridge, Calif., covering the unprecedented 2021 CIF high school sports season. My work appeared in five of Outlook’s six weekly community papers: The Glendale News-Press, The Burbank Leader, the La Cañada Outlook Valley Sun, the Pasadena Outlook and the South Pasadena Review.

After moving out to Arizona in August, I covered high school sports for AZPreps365.com, where I was assigned the Chandler High School beat in the Fall 2021 season and O’Connor High School beat in the Winter/Spring 2022 season. In March 2022, I also joined the Arizona State baseball beat at House of Sparky, SB Nation’s ASU athletics coverage blog.

Sports I have covered for these outlets include football, boys’/mens’ and girls’/womens’ basketball, baseball, softball, track & field, tennis, volleyball and water polo.
